BOARDING
At Edelweiss Estates we offer more than your normal boarding facility!
First and foremost, each dog will enjoy their own spacious run called their “Resting Home Space”. These runs are cleaned daily with fresh mountain air flowing through them. The runs offer the dogs a comfortable environment where they can stretch their legs, feel safe and enjoy a loft bed or a bed brought with them. They also can have their own comfort items if need be, so they feel at home. Fresh water from our well is given to them to keep them wonderfully hydrated without added chemicals! You can bring your dog’s food along with you that will be given to them as it is at your home so to keep them “on schedule” if you know what I mean!! Should food be needed we can discuss that in further detail per each animal as an organic meat meal can be provided at an additional cost and per market cost.
Another critical business value we have here at Edelweiss Estates is that we live here. This means FREEDOM! The dogs do not get kept in their home space all day and do not get stuck in that space at closing time of 5 pm. They go on runs/walks through our fields to play catch, sniff, skip, etc. We also have a hiking area through the woods and around our fields that offers them another stimulating environment that they just love. If your dog has off leash training (please see training availabilities if needed), then they also go on bike rides and longer hikes in the area. We also have multiple dog play areas with some baby pools (weather permitting) and agility courses for off leash fun time. If weather is bad, they can romp in our spacious covered area with our kennel supervisor and toys. As the day dwindles and the tired babies want to sleep, they are left out again, so they don’t have to hold it in for extended hours and then tucked in for a good nights sleep! Smooches are free!!!

On top of the clear mountain air exercise, we need to remember a dog’s nose is one of the biggest things to their stimulation. Happy nose, happy Wag. So we find it in the mountains!!! The dogs at Edelweiss Estate enjoy and love all the new wonderful smells. Off the beaten path where we reside, the dogs enjoy all the wildlife smells the forest brings! We also have livestock forever pets that make this place the cool place that it is, that brings a whole other level of stimulation for the dogs. The dogs outdoor large play space is beside the sheeps’ field space where they love to watch them graze. I love watching the dogs see them for the first time. It is so neat! Mr. Ducky walks around as well as chickens to make it that much more of a captivating arena. They will see the horse and donkey on their walks through the field and see/smell many other wild game.
